We deliver a tailored programme that is built to inspire, train and fund sports volunteering opportunities for young people

To Be Sport is supported by the IOC Young Leaders Programme

The IOC Young Leaders programme, launched in 2016, empowers talents to leverage the power of sport to make a positive difference in their communities. 25 Young Leaders are being selected every two years for a four year period.

With the support of seed-funding from the IOC and a network of mentors, these inspiring young people have so far delivered over 140 initiatives reaching over 30,000 individual participants. As agents of Olympism they promote the Olympic values and principles of Olympism 365 days a year, spreading the message of sport for good.

Shruti - Careers & EDI Expert

Corentin is a sports enthusiast and IOC Young Leader with over 8 years experience working in the sports industry. After leaving university with a politics degree, he realised his true passion was for sport, but he had no experience or network. He decided to do a Masters in Sport, and was encouraged by his peers to do sports event volunteering.

After multiple volunteering opportunities, he was offered his first job in sports while volunteering at the UEFA Champions League final in 2016. Through this experience, it became clear to Corentin that volunteering had multiple barriers to entry and he started to search for a potential solution, which led to the creation of To Be Sport.
